Job Summary
Galaxy Multistate Multipurpose Co-operative Society Limited is looking for motivated and responsible Pigmy Agents / Deposit Collection Agents to promote eligible deposit products and develop customers/members within their assigned area.
The Pigmy Agent will be responsible for customer acquisition, regular collection of eligible deposits as per the organization's approved process, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving assigned collection/business targets.
This is a commission-based and incentive-based opportunity, making it suitable for candidates looking for flexible field-based work and earning opportunities linked to their performance.
Key Responsibilities
Visit customers/members in the assigned area for authorized deposit collection activities.
Promote the organization's applicable savings/deposit products and services.
Acquire new customers/members through personal contacts, referrals, local networking, and field visits.
Explain product features, eligibility, terms, documentation, and applicable procedures clearly to customers.
Collect deposits only through the authorized process and issue/maintain the required records or receipts.
Ensure all collected amounts and transaction records are submitted/deposited with the organization within the prescribed timeline.
Maintain accurate daily collection records and customer information.
Follow up with customers regularly for scheduled collections.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers/members.
Generate referrals and identify new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
Assist customers with basic service queries and coordinate with the branch when necessary.
Submit daily/weekly collection and business reports to the reporting manager.
Follow all organizational policies, internal controls, KYC requirements, and applicable rules.
Maintain complete confidentiality of customer and organizational information.
Immediately report any discrepancy, customer complaint, unusual transaction, or collection-related issue to the branch/authorized officer.
Perform other field-related responsibilities assigned by management.
Commission & Incentive Structure
This position is primarily commission/incentive based.
Earnings may be linked to:
Deposit collection performance.
New customer/member acquisition.
Growth in eligible deposit business.
Achievement of monthly/quarterly targets.
Customer retention and active accounts, where applicable.
Performance-based incentive schemes announced by the organization from time to time.
Note: Commission rates, eligibility conditions, targets, payment schedules, and incentive slabs will be as per the organization's prevailing policy and applicable rules.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum 10th / 12th Pass preferred.
Basic ability to read and write.
Basic knowledge of local language required.
Basic knowledge of Hindi/English will be an advantage.
Previous experience in deposit collection, banking, co-operative society, insurance, microfinance, field sales, or financial services is preferred but not mandatory.

Important Compliance & Conduct Requirements
The agent must follow the organization's authorized collection and documentation procedures at all times.
No unauthorized charges, promises, or commitments should be made to customers.
Customer money and documents must be handled strictly according to the organization's prescribed process.
All transactions must be properly recorded and acknowledged through authorized channels.
Customer information must not be disclosed to unauthorized persons.
Any suspected fraud, discrepancy, or irregularity must be reported immediately to the branch/authorized officer.
