Hiring: Sales and Marketing Manager
Location: Candolim, North Goa
Job Type: Full-time
We are hiring for a vibrant, popular 3-star resort featuring 72 well-appointed rooms, twin outdoor swimming pools, and our in-house multi-cuisine restaurant, The Wishing Well. Located just a short walk from the iconic Candolim Beach, we cater extensively to couples, families, leisure holidaymakers, and group travellers. We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our commercial strategy and maximize our property's revenue potential.
Job Summary
As the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving room occupancy, F&B revenue, and group bookings across peak holiday seasons, weekdays, and the monsoon period. You will actively manage our relationships with Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), travel agents, and corporate clients while elevating our local and digital brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation & Strategy: Develop and execute annual and monthly room sales targets. Formulate effective strategies to boost weekday and monsoon/off-season occupancy.
OTA & Digital Channel Management: Manage distribution channels like Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, and Agoda to optimize pricing, inventory, and net-revenue yield.
Travel Trade & B2B Partnerships: Build and maintain a robust network with local and outstation travel operators, DMCs, and tour agents (specifically targeting major source markets like Mumbai and Delhi).
Local Marketing & Promos: Coordinate local marketing initiatives, social media campaigns, and partnerships that align with Goa’s annual tourism calendar.
Event & Group Booking Execution: Pitch and close sales for family gatherings, small corporate groups, and social events, coordinating closely with our front office and restaurant teams for smooth execution.
Competitor Analysis: Regularly monitor competitor pricing, packages, and market trends to ensure Magnum Resorts remains highly competitive in North Goa.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in hotel sales and marketing, preferably within North Goa beach resorts or mid-scale leisure properties.
Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Goan tourism landscape, seasonal booking trends, and local B2B travel trade networks.
Tech Savvy: Strong proficiency in using Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS), Channel Managers, CRM software, and managing OTA backends.
Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
