Maintenance Engineer

Job Purpose and Impact

The Maintenance Engineer will apply technical knowledge to design, develop and maintain overall governance on standards, application, gaps, solutions and measurements to increase production quality, efficiency and volume for the business. In this role, you will perform routine activities related to electrical engineering to enable projects and improve our capabilities by providing engineering support for the organization.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance activities in compliance with Cargill safety standards and electrical integrity requirements.
• Responsible for coordinating and providing direct support and delivery services for operation and maintaining the records related to it.
• Ensure the regulatory compliances in line to the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems, adherence to regulatory and company policies
• Monitor and support progress for projects with low to medium levels of complexity and ensure appropriate resource allocations and portfolio prioritization.
• Drive the global programs in line Cargill electrical integrity and maintain the document requirement related with it
• Support more senior team members to assess electrical engineering development and application opportunities and further dissemination across common practice areas.
• Support, analyze and develop conclusions regarding areas of improvement and identify opportunities to improve performance and determine acceptable risk tolerance.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• Minimum of 2-4 Years of related work experience
• Other minimum qualifications may apply

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Demonstrated strong working knowledge of electrical systems, SCADA systems, PLC programming principles, and related theories, concepts and techniques.
• Strong technical and mathematical skills
• Intermediate project management skills
