Job Summary:
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of steam boilers used for curing precast concrete products. The role ensures continuous steam supply at the required temperature and pressure while maintaining boiler equipment, records, safety, and housekeeping standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor steam boilers as per curing and production requirements.
- Maintain required steam temperature, pressure, feedwater level, and fuel supply .
- Conduct routine boiler inspection, cleaning, servicing, and minor maintenance .
- Check burners, pumps, valves, filters, nozzles, piping, and leakage regularly.
- Maintain accurate boiler logbooks, hourly readings, and maintenance records .
- Coordinate with Production, Curing, and Maintenance teams for continuous steam supply.
- Monitor fuel receipt and consumption and report shortages or abnormalities.
- Supervise boiler workers and ensure proper housekeeping and safe working practices .
- Support boiler inspections, audits, and statutory compliance .
