Job Description
Position: Waiter / Steward
Department: Food & Beverage (F&B)
Reporting To: Restaurant Supervisor / Captain / F&B Manager
- Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesWelcome guests warmly with a smile and professional hospitality.
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness, hygiene, and table setup.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Serve food and beverages according to hotel service standards.
- Follow guest service etiquette and professional grooming standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely food delivery.
- Ensure guest satisfaction and handle complaints politely.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, floors, and service stations.
- Follow food safety, personal hygiene, and sanitation SOPs.
- Maintain proper mise-en-place before and after service.
- Assist in buffet setup, replenishment, and closing procedures.
- Follow supervisor instructions, teamwork, discipline, and attendance rules.
- Upsell food and beverages professionally.
- Maintain zero-complaint service standards.
