Accountant

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting and financial activities of the company.

The candidate should have good knowledge of Tally/Accounting Software, MS Excel, invoicing, bank reconciliation, vendor payments, and basic GST/TDS-related work.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and transactions
• Prepare and process sales and purchase invoices
• Record receipts, payments, expenses, and journal entries
• Maintain vendor and customer ledgers
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations
• Track outstanding receivables and payables
• Verify bills, invoices, supporting documents, and payment details
• Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory accounting requirements
• Prepare basic MIS and accounting reports in Excel
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding billing and payments
• Assist management with regular financial reports and account-related requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Good knowledge of Tally and MS Excel
• Good understanding of GST and TDS
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred

• Experience in a service-based or corporate company
• Knowledge of invoicing and vendor/customer reconciliation
• Experience handling accounts independently
