Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts.
• Handle sales, purchase, receipts, payments, journal entries, and expense accounting.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and debit/credit notes.
• Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliation.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
• Prepare and verify GST invoices with correct GSTIN, HSN/SAC codes, and applicable tax rates.
• Maintain accurate GST purchase and sales records.
• Reconcile purchase data with GSTR-2B and books of accounts.
• Assist in preparation and filing of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Maintain GST records and documents for audit and compliance purposes.
• Coordinate with CA/tax consultants regarding GST matters and notices.
• equired SkillsStrong knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of GST returns, GSTR-2B reconciliation, ITC, and TDS returns.
