Bread BakerRole

Summary

We are looking for a Bread Baker who can independently prepare and bake breads while maintaining consistency in taste, texture, appearance, and weight.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare different types of breads, buns, rolls, loaves, focaccia, babka, and related products
• Accurately weigh and scale ingredients
• Mix, knead, divide, shape, proof, and bake dough
• Monitor fermentation and proofing
• Operate ovens, mixers, dough sheeters, and other bakery equipment safely
• Follow standard recipes and production schedules
• Maintain consistency in product size, weight, texture, and appearance
• Prepare products according to daily orders and production requirements
• Monitor ingredient quality and report shortages
• Minimise wastage and use ingredients responsibly
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation
• Follow food-safety, hygiene, and storage procedures
• Assist with packaging and dispatch when required
• Candidate RequirementsPrevious experience in bread or bakery production is preferred
• Understanding of dough mixing, fermentation, proofing, shaping, and baking
• Ability to follow recipes and production instructions accurately
• Comfortable working early-morning shifts
• Physically fit and able to work in a standing kitchen environment
• Punctual, disciplined, and willing to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
