Job Description

CCTV Technician

Location: bangalore


Experience: 1–3 Years

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job SummaryWe are looking for a CCTV Technician to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV and other electronic security systems. The candidate should have hands-on technical knowledge and be comfortable visiting customer sites for installation and service work.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and configure IP and Analog CCTV cameras.
  • Install and configure DVR/NVR systems.
  • Perform CCTV cabling, wiring, termination, and testing.
  • Configure IP cameras and basic network settings.
  • Troubleshoot CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR, power supply, storage, and connectivity issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown service.
  • Visit customer sites for installation and service requirements.
  • Maintain proper installation and service reports.
  • Coordinate with the Service Coordinator and Operations Manager.
  • Provide basic training to customers on CCTV system operation.
  • Handle technical complaints and resolve issues within the given timeline.
  • Required Technical SkillsCCTV installation and troubleshooting
  • IP & Analog cameras
  • DVR/NVR configuration
  • Basic networking – TCP/IP, LAN, Switch, Router & PoE
  • CAT6 cable laying and RJ45 termination
  • Camera positioning and testing
  • Basic knowledge of Access Control and Biometric Systems
  • Basic knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems is an advantage
  • QualificationsITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related technical field.
  • Candidates with relevant hands-on experience may also be considered.
  • Experience1–3 years of experience in CCTV installation, maintenance, or technical service.
  • Experience with CP Plus, Hikvision, Dahua, or similar CCTV products is preferred.
  • Additional RequirementsGood communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
  • Willingness to travel to customer/project locations.
  • Two-wheeler and valid driving licence will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
