Collection/Recovery Manager

We are looking for a results-driven Collection Recovery Specialist to manage customer accounts receivable and accelerate cash flow. In this role, you will monitor invoices, track payments, and engage directly with our B2B customers to recover outstanding balances. This position requires significant mobility, as you will regularly visit customer sites to resolve payment delays, negotiate settlements, and maintain positive commercial relationships.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Payment Monitoring: Track daily invoicing, aging schedules, and incoming payments to flag delayed accounts early.
• Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for past-due accounts; make phone calls, send emails, and frequently travel to customer locations for face-to-face recovery meetings.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Logistics, and Quality teams to investigate and resolve customer disputes (e.g., pricing errors, delivery delays, product defects) that block payment.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile customer ledgers against internal accounts to resolve payment discrepancies.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate collection logs and provide weekly recovery updates to management.

🛠️ Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in B2B credit collections, accounts receivable, or commercial sales—manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a strong willingness to travel regularly to customer offices or factories.
• Skills: Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills with a professional demeanor.
• Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
