Field Service Technician

Job Title: Field Service & Maintenance TechnicianJob SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Field Service & Maintenance Technician to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fitness equipment at customer locations. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach to ensure timely and high-quality service.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and commission fitness equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gym equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out repairs.
• Replace defective parts and ensure equipment is restored to proper working condition.
• Conduct routine service visits as per the maintenance schedule.
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure safety and performance.
• Educate customers on the proper use and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Prepare and submit service reports after each site visit.
• Maintain records of service calls, repairs, spare parts used, and customer feedback.
• Coordinate with the service team for scheduling and completion of assigned jobs.
• Maintain service tools, equipment, and company assets in good condition.
• Follow all company safety procedures and customer site regulations.
• Travel to customer locations whenever required.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Basic understanding of power tools and hand tools.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage field assignments.
• Time management and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer or mobile application skills for updating service reports.
• QualificationsITI, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• Freshers with technical knowledge or experienced technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience in servicing fitness equipment, machinery, or industrial equipment is an added advantage.
• Preferred QualitiesPositive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong troubleshooting ability.
• Physically fit to handle equipment installation and servicing.
• Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits.
• Valid two-wheeler driving licence is preferred.
• Working HoursMonday to Saturday
• 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM
