Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Planning

- Create 2D layouts and detailed drawings using AutoCAD.

- Develop 3D interior designs and renders using SketchUp.

- Prepare furniture layouts, elevations, working drawings, and design details.

- Select suitable materials, laminates, colours, finishes, and hardware based on client requirements and budget.

- Coordinate design changes and ensure drawings are practical and execution-ready.

2. Site Execution & Supervision

- Visit project sites regularly and supervise interior execution work.

- Coordinate with carpenters, electricians, painters, contractors, and other vendors.

- Ensure execution follows approved drawings, dimensions, materials, and finishes.

- Monitor work quality, site progress, and project timelines.

- Identify site issues, resolve execution challenges, and communicate updates to management.

- Verify site measurements and ensure proper utilization of materials.

3. Project Coordination

- Coordinate with clients and vendors regarding design requirements and site progress.

- Track material requirements, deliveries, and pending work.

- Maintain site reports, execution checklists, and project updates.

- Support timely project completion while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Required Skills

- Good working knowledge of SketchUp and AutoCAD.

- Practical understanding of interior materials, furniture design, and finishes.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

- Knowledge of modular kitchens, wardrobes, false ceilings, lighting, and other interior works.

- Strong site supervision, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and time-management skills.

- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bengaluru.

Preferred Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in residential interior design and execution.

- Freshers with strong software skills and p

ractical site knowledge may also apply.
