Job Description

Role Summary

The Laundry Pressman is responsible for ironing and pressing cleaned clothes, packing them neatly, and preparing customer orders for delivery. The role requires care when handling garments, attention to detail, and timely completion of work.


Key Responsibilities

  • Iron and press clothes using the correct temperature and technique for each fabric.
  • Check garments for stains, damage, or missed cleaning, and report any issues before packing.
  • Fold or hang garments neatly according to customer requirements.
  • Match garments to the correct customer order and confirm that all items are accounted for.
  • Pack clothes securely to keep them clean, presentable, and protected during delivery.
  • Label packages accurately with customer and order details.
  • Organise completed orders for collection by the delivery team.
  • Keep the pressing and packing area clean and follow safety procedures when using irons, steam presses, and other equipment.
