Position OverviewJob Title: Commis Chef – Multi-Cuisine (Continental & Indian)

Location: Whitefield, Bengaluru (Cloud Kitchen)

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM (shift-based within kitchen operating hours)

Work Week: 6 days a week, 1 rotational weekly off

Experience: 2+ years in continental and/or Indian cuisine

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience)

About the RoleWe are a fast-growing cloud kitchen in Whitefield, Bengaluru, looking for a passionate Commis Chef who can work across continental and Indian sections. Our menu focuses on quick-to-prepare, delivery-friendly items, and you will work under the guidance of the Head Chef. This is a hands-on role in a high-volume, delivery-first kitchen where speed, consistency, and hygiene matter most.

Menu You Will Work On•      Pizzas — hand-tossed and pan pizzas with quick assembly and baking.

•      Burgers — veg and non-veg patties, grilled and assembled to order.

•      Sandwiches — grilled, club, and panini-style sandwiches.

•      Wraps and rolls — quick-fill wraps for delivery.

•      Pastas — red, white, and mixed sauce pastas made to order.

•      Egg dishes — omelettes, scrambled/fried eggs, egg wraps, egg sandwiches, and all-day breakfast items.

•      Chicken dishes — grilled chicken, fried chicken, chicken wings, chicken steaks, and chicken starters.

•      Fish dishes — fish & chips, grilled/fried fish fillets, and fish fingers.

•      Fries, garlic bread, nachos, and other quick sides.

•      Idli with sambar and chutney — steamed fresh through the day.

•      Parathas — all varieties (plain, aloo, paneer, gobi, methi, mixed) served with curd and pickle.

•      Salads and quick appetizers.

Key Responsibilities•      Prepare and cook menu items (pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, pastas, egg/chicken/fish dishes, idli-sambar, parathas, sides) quickly and as per standard recipes and portion sizes.

•      Handle, clean, and cook chicken, fish, and eggs safely — proper storage temperatures and no cross-contamination between veg and non-veg stations.

•      Handle mise en place — chopping, marination, sauces, and pre-preparation before and during service.

•      Ensure every order is prepared accurately, plated/packed correctly, and dispatched within delivery-time targets.

•      Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation across all orders.

•      Follow FIFO, proper food storage, and labelling practices to control wastage.

•      Keep the workstation, equipment, and kitchen clean as per FSSAI hygiene standards.

•      Assist in receiving and checking quality of raw material deliveries.

•      Support the Head Chef with new menu trials and packaging checks for delivery.

Requirements•      1–3 years of experience as a commis chef or cook in continental and/or Indian cuisine (cloud kitchen, QSR, or restaurant background preferred).

•      Hands-on experience with pizza, burger, sandwich, and pasta preparation; comfortable with grills, ovens, and fryers.

•      Comfortable preparing and handling non-veg — eggs, chicken, and fish.

•      Able to prepare Indian staples — idli, sambar, and parathas (multi-cuisine kitchen).

•      Ability to work fast under pressure during peak delivery hours (lunch and dinner rush).

•      Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

•      Willingness to work 6 days a week within 10 AM – 10 PM operating hours.

•      Diploma/certificate in culinary arts or hotel management is a plus, not mandatory.

•      Candidates residing in or near Whitefield preferred.

What We Offer•      Salary of ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month, based on skills and experience.
