Job Title: Hair & Skin Technician

Department: Clinical Operations

Reports To: Clinic Manager / Dermatologist / Medical Director

Location: Hair & Skin Clinic

1. Job Purpose

To provide professional assistance in hair and skin treatments, operate aesthetic equipment, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and ensure a comfortable and positive patient experience under the supervision of qualified medical professionals.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Hair Treatments

Assist in hair PRP procedures under doctor supervision.

Perform hair wash, scalp cleansing and prescribed hair-care treatments.

Assist with hair growth therapies and scalp treatments.

Support hair transplant procedures as directed by the medical team.

Prepare patients for hair-related procedures.

B. Skin Treatments

Perform basic facials and skin cleansing treatments.

Assist in chemical peels and other clinical skin procedures under appropriate supervision.

Operate approved skin-care and aesthetic equipment after training.

Assist with laser hair reduction procedures, where appropriately trained and authorized.

Maintain treatment protocols and patient records.

C. Patient Management

Welcome patients and explain treatment preparation and aftercare instructions approved by the doctor.

Maintain patient comfort and confidentiality.

Coordinate appointments and treatment schedules.

Follow up with patients as instructed.

D. Equipment & Clinic Maintenance

Clean and disinfect treatment rooms and equipment.

Maintain sterilization and infection-control protocols.

Check equipment functionality before and after treatments.

Maintain stock of consumables and treatment supplies.

Ensure biomedical waste is segregated and disposed of appropriately.

3. Qualifications

Diploma or certification in Beauty Therapy, Aesthetics, Nursing, or a relevant healthcare field.

Previous experience in a hair and skin clinic preferred.

Knowledge of hygiene and infection-control practices.

Training in aesthetic equipment operation is an advantage.
