Job Description
- Inspect aerospace components as per engineering drawings and customer requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T.
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of components.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and CMM.
- Verify component dimensions and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify, record, and report non-conforming components.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
- Coordinate with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues.
- Follow customer specifications, work instructions, and applicable quality procedures.
- Ensure proper identification, traceability, and handling of inspected components.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain 5S, workplace safety, and quality standards.
- Required SkillsKnowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection methods.
- Understanding of dimensional inspection and tolerance requirements.
- Basic knowledge of aerospace quality standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
- Good observation, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience in aerospace component manufacturing is an added advantage.
