Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant plays a critical role in managing the financial health of the organization by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This role is responsible for executing complex accounting procedures, maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial statements, and driving the month-end closing process.

📋 Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Reporting

• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes accurately.
• Prepare, review, and post complex journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Generate timely and accurate financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including depreciation schedules and capital expenditures.

Compliance & Audit Support

• Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and accounting standards.
• Coordinate internal and external audit processes by preparing required schedules and documentation.
• Oversee corporate tax filings, GST/VAT compliance, and statutory reporting where applicable.

Analysis & Internal Controls

• Perform variance analysis (budget vs. actual) to identify financial trends and discrepancies.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.

Team Leadership & System Optimization

• Review the work of junior accountants and provide guidance and mentorship.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting workflows and systems
