Job Description
- Receiving & Shipping: Unload deliveries, check for accuracy, process incoming stock, and prepare outgoing orders.
- Inventory Management: Sort, organize, label, and store items on shelves/racks; conduct stock counts and report discrepancies.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment, ensuring correct items and quantities.
- Material Handling: Move goods within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
- Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Documentation: Update logs, scan items, and complete paperwork for inventory.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting heavy objects and performing physically demanding tasks.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other staff.
- Attention to Detail: For accurate order picking and inventory checks.
- Equipment Operation: May need a forklift license and proficiency with warehouse software.
- Safety: Adherence to all health and safety rules.
