Job Description
Operate and set VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines as per production requirements.
Read and understand engineering drawings, machining drawings, and work instructions.
Perform machine setting, tool setting, work offset and tool offset adjustments.
Load and unload components safely and correctly.
Understand and operate CNC programs and make minor program corrections when required.
Select appropriate cutting tools, holders and machining parameters.
Check component dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.
Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
Perform first-piece inspection and in-process inspection.
