Accountant

We are seeking a Mid-Level Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and a solid grasp of TALLY principles.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Prepare and post journal entries, and maintain the general ledger
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and balance sheet accounts
• Assist in preparing financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
• Prepare and file sales tax, payroll tax, and other regulatory filings as needed
• Identify and help implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies

Qualifications & Requirements:-

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Solid understanding of TALLY and general accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
