Architect & Interior Design

Our Client:  The company is a fast-growing Bangalore-based real-estate services business focused on turnkey home construction and bespoke home interiors. It is looking to scale its Bangalore business by generating more qualified leads and driving higher sales. The role combines sales, digital marketing and channel partnerships with architects, developers and real-estate agents.

Designation: Architect / Interior Designer 

Location: Bangalore-BTM, 4th stage

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architecture (B.Arch) or Interior Design.

Experience: 1 year

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Architect / Interior Designer with around 1 year of professional experience to manage end-to-end design and on-site coordination. In this role, you will be responsible for translating client visions into functional architectural layouts and refined interior spaces, preparing working drawings, and liaising with vendors and site execution teams to deliver projects on schedule.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Design Development & Space Planning: Develop architectural layouts, elevations, 3D visualizations, and interior concepts for individual residences, villas, and turnkey spaces.

• Working & Technical Drawings: Produce detailed architectural working drawings, interior joinery details, false ceiling layouts, electrical/plumbing (MEP) schematics, and material schedules.

• Client Interfacing: Lead design presentations, understand client requirements, offer material recommendations, and manage revision cycles effectively.

• Site Execution & Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure execution aligns strictly with approved working drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.

• Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Coordinate with carpenters, civil teams, MEP contractors, and material vendors to resolve on-site technical queries and prevent execution delays.

• Material Selection & BOQs: Assist in creating Bills of Quantities (BOQs), estimating material requirements, and sourcing finishes, tiles, fittings, and furnishings.

Requirement:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architecture (B.Arch) or Interior Design.
• Experience: Experience handling residential architectural design, turnkey villas, or residential interiors.
• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD (advanced), SketchUp / 3ds Max, V-Ray / Lumion, and Photoshop. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word) for estimation is a plus.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of residential construction techniques, joinery/carpentry details, civil finishes, and MEP coordination.
• Communication & Site Acumen: Clear communication skills in English and Kannada (working knowledge of Kannada is strongly preferred for effective site/contractor coordination).
• Work Ethic: Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously.
