Area Sales Executive

Company Description Square Yards is a full-stack proptech platform that supports the entire real estate journey, from search and discovery through transactions, mortgages, home furnishing, rentals, and property management. The company is building disruptive B2B platforms for developers, financial institutions, and agents, while also managing high volumes of profitable transactions every year. Square Yards has a strong global presence, with a significant share of revenue coming from markets such as the Middle East, Australia, and Canada. Leveraging data analytics and VR tools, the platform aims to transform traditional real estate marketplaces and build India’s first Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Adjacent B2C brands including Azuro, Interior Company, and Square Capital are scaling rapidly across the value chain and establishing themselves as category leaders.

Role Description The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The person in this role will manage sales operations within the assigned territory, including lead generation, client meetings, and conversion of prospects into successful transactions. Daily responsibilities include overseeing a team of sales professionals, setting and tracking targets, monitoring market trends, and maintaining strong relationships with developers, channel partners, and individual customers. The Area Sales Manager will collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to align sales strategies with company objectives and ensure an excellent customer experience. The role also involves preparing regular performance reports, forecasting sales, and identifying opportunities to grow market share.

Qualifications

• Experience in territory or area sales management, preferably in real estate, proptech, or related sectors.
• Strong skills in business development, client relationship management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to analyze market data, track competition, and use insights to refine sales strategies.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and basic MS Office applications for reporting and pipeline management.
• Demonstrated capability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and managing multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of the Greater Bengaluru real estate market and local customer preferences is highly beneficial.
