Assistant Store Manager – Retail

Experience: 1–5 years

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager from a retail, wellness, or customer-facing background to support daily store operations and deliver a high-quality customer experience.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & ENGAGEMENT

• Ensure every customer is welcomed and guided through their visit in a warm, professional manner.
• Support customers through consultations and their treatment journey, explaining plans and product usage.
• Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat visits; handle queries and escalations effectively.
• Conduct outbound calling for appointment confirmations, follow-ups, retention, and service recovery.
• Reconnect with missed leads, no-shows, and inactive customers to improve footfall and conversion.
• Coordinate with customers via calls, WhatsApp, and CRM tools for timely, consistent communication

STORE OPERATIONS & TEAM MANAGEMENT

• Ensure smooth day-to-day store/clinic operations, including opening, closing, and hygiene standards.
• Supervise and guide the team, including Client Servicing Consultants and support staff.
• Manage appointments, walk-ins, and customer escalations efficiently.
• Coordinate with doctors, backend teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Maintain shift rosters and ensure team productivity, discipline, and SOP adherence

SALES OWNERSHIP

• Drive store performance and support achievement of revenue targets
• Guide the team on product understanding, usage, and upselling
• Ensure strong focus on conversions, repeat business, and customer retention

REPORTING & INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

• Track daily footfall, conversions, and maintain MIS reports
• Ensure accurate inventory management and timely replenishment
• Maintain data accuracy and reporting discipline

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate (mandatory), with 4–6 years in retail, wellness, healthcare, or hospitality– Minimum 2+ years of team handling experience.
• Strong communication, customer engagement, and people-management skills.
• Comfortable with CRM systems, Excel/Google Sheets, and daily reporting.
• High ownership, accountability, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
