AutoCAD Draughtsman

Job Title: Design Draftsman – Metal Fabrication

Location: Bengaluru

Sre Kateel Industries is a precision fabrication company supplying components and assemblies to leading OEMs in the automotive and industrial sectors. We are looking for a Design Draftsman with a strong understanding of metal fabrication and manufacturing drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings for fabricated components and assemblies.
• Create shop-floor ready drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, weld details, and material specifications.
• Prepare assembly drawings and BOMs.
• Generate DXF files for laser cutting when required.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure manufacturability.
• Revise drawings based on engineering changes and customer feedback.

Requirements:

• 1–5 years of experience in metal fabrication or machine structure design.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Inventor.
• Understanding of fabrication processes such as laser cutting, bending, welding, machining, and assembly.

Ability to produce clear manufacturing drawings used directly on the shop floor.

Preferred Experience:

• Machine frames and structures
• Industrial racks or material handling equipment
• Control panels or enclosures
• Fabricated assemblies in MS, SS, and Aluminium

Candidates may be asked to complete a short drafting test to evaluate fabrication drawing knowledge.
