Job Description
- Feeding: Providing both breast and bottle feeding support, ensuring the baby's nutritional needs are met.
- Diapering: Changing diapers and maintaining hygiene standards for the baby.
- Sleep Training: Establishing feeding and sleeping schedules, and promoting sleep training methods.
- Parental Support: Educating and supporting parents in developing and maintaining proper childcare techniques.
- Health Monitoring: Monitoring the baby's condition and activities, and reporting any concerns to parents or healthcare professionals.
- Documentation: Keeping records of the baby's routines and communicating them to parents.
- Emergency Response: Recognizing and responding to signs of neonatal distress, and knowing how to initiate emergency procedures.These responsibilities are crucial for ensuring a smooth transition for families during the early weeks and months of a newborn's life. The role often requires a combination of clinical assessment, individualized care plans, and communication with parents to ensure the baby's health and well-being.
