Roles and Responsibilities1. Customer Billing

• Generate accurate bills for dine-in, takeaway, and parcel orders.
• Handle cash, UPI, debit/credit cards, and other payment methods.
• Provide bills to customers and maintain proper billing records.

2. POS and Online Orders

• Operate the restaurant billing software or POS system.
• Enter food orders accurately and coordinate with the kitchen.
• Monitor orders received through Swiggy and Zomato.
• Ensure that online orders are billed and recorded correctly.

3. Cash Management

• Maintain the daily cash counter.
• Verify cash collections against POS and payment records.
• Prepare daily sales and payment collection reports.
• Report cash shortages, excess amounts, or billing discrepancies to management.

4. Sales and Record Maintenance

• Maintain daily sales, discount, cancellation, and refund records.
• Check that all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Maintain separate records for cash, UPI, card, and online-platform sales.
• Submit daily closing reports to the accountant or management.

5. Coordination

• Coordinate with kitchen staff regarding order numbers and billing accuracy.
• Assist customers with billing or payment-related queries.
• Inform management about technical issues, payment failures, and unusual transactions.
• Skills and QualificationsBasic computer knowledge and experience with POS billing software.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling and daily sales reconciliation.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Accuracy in calculations and attention to detail.
• Honesty, punctuality, and responsibility.
• Previous restaurant billing experience preferred.
• Basic Excel knowledge is an advantage.

Daily Reporting RequirementsThe billing executive must submit the following at the end of every shift:

• Total sales as per POS.
• Cash collected.
• UPI and card collections.
• Swiggy and Zomato order sales.
• Discounts, cancellations, and refunds.
• Cash shortage or excess, if any.
• Final cash handover to the authorized person.
