Gold Loan Branch Manager
Position: Branch Manager
Department: Branch Operations
Industry: Gold Loan / NBFC / Financial Services

Reporting To: Area Manager / Regional Manager
Job PurposeThe Branch Manager will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the gold loan branch, including business development, customer service, gold loan operations, collections, compliance, team management, and achievement of branch targets.
The role requires strong leadership, sales, operational discipline, customer relationship management, and the ability to ensure that all gold loan transactions are carried out safely and in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities1. Branch Business & Sales
- Achieve monthly and annual branch targets for gold loan disbursement, outstanding portfolio, renewals, and customer acquisition.
- Generate new customers through branch activities, local marketing, references, and field-level business development.
- Develop relationships with existing customers and encourage repeat business and renewals.
- Monitor branch business performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Identify opportunities to increase the branch's gold loan portfolio while maintaining portfolio quality.
2. Gold Loan Operations
- Ensure proper valuation, verification, documentation, sanction, disbursement, and closure of gold loans as per company policy.
- Ensure accurate assessment of gold purity, weight, eligible loan amount, and applicable interest.
- Maintain proper custody and security of pledged gold ornaments.
