Job Description
*Job Summary:*
* As a Field Business Development Executive, your role is to visit merchants in the assigned area, onboard new businesses, drive product adoption, and ensure active usage of PhonePe services like Smart Speakers, QR codes, and financial products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Merchant Onboarding
Acquire new merchants and onboard them onto the PhonePe platform
Install and activate PhonePe QR codes
Promote and sell PhonePe Smart Speakers
2. Product Promotion
Educate merchants about PhonePe services (payments, offers, etc.)
Drive adoption of digital payments in local businesses
3. Reactivation
Identify inactive merchants
Visit and reactivate them to resume transactions
4. KYC & Loan Processing
Assist merchants with KYC verification
Promote and support PhonePe loans / financial services
5. Relationship Management
Maintain good relationships with merchants
Resolve basic issues and coordinate with support teams
6. Daily Field Activity
Meet daily targets (TP – transactions / onboarding)
Conduct regular market visits in assigned territory
Report daily activities to the manager
