CCTV Operator

Overview:

Responsible for continuous CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, system checks and maintaining confidentiality to ensure safety and security at Urban Vault.

Key ResponsibilitiesCCTV Monitoring

• Monitor CCTV cameras, entry/exit points, parking and material movement.
• Identify and immediately report suspicious activities, violations or emergencies to the Security Manager.
• Support security teams during emergencies and evacuation.

Daily Checks & Maintenance

• Review previous night’s footage at the start of each shift.
• Identify camera/equipment issues and report them to IT via email.
• Ensure CCTV recordings are retained for 45 days.

Incident Reporting

• Document all incidents, violations and emergencies accurately.
• Share daily observations with the Security Manager and maintain confidential records.

Access & Confidentiality

• Restrict Control Room access to authorised personnel only.
• Ensure CCTV footage and information are used strictly for safety and incident resolution.
• Maintain privacy, confidentiality and prevent information leakage.
• Required Skills & QualificationsGraduation with prior CCTV/security operations experience preferred.
• Strong vigilance, attention to detail and ability to remain alert during extended hours.
• Basic CCTV/IT knowledge and understanding of security protocols.
• Good communication, reporting and escalation skills.
• Strong ethical judgment and respect for privacy.
• Reporting & AccountabilityReports to the Security Manager.
• Accountable for CCTV monitoring, confidentiality, compliance and operational integrity.
