Job Summary

The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities at residential project sites, ensuring that work is executed according to approved drawings, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines. The role involves coordinating with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and the project team to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and monitor construction progress.
• Ensure construction work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Verify levels, layouts, dimensions, and site measurements before and during construction.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Track material requirements, consumption, and inventory at the site.
• Inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet project specifications.
• Monitor labor productivity and ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
• Identify construction issues and coordinate timely resolutions with the project team.
• Maintain site documentation, including inspection records, work orders, and progress reports.
• Participate in client, consultant, and contractor meetings as required.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution to achieve timely project completion.
• Ensure all work complies with local building regulations and company quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in residential building construction. (Fresh graduates may be considered for Junior Site Engineer positions.)
• Strong understanding of RCC, masonry, finishing, waterproofing, and residential construction practices.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control procedures.
• Familiarity with safety standards and construction regulations.
