Role SummaryThe Design Engineer will prepare and revise mechanical and sheet metal designs, production drawings, and technical documentation in coordination with manufacturing and quality teams.

Key Roles & Responsibilities·        Prepare and revise 2D drawings and 3D models for sheet metal parts and assemblies.

·        Create production-ready drawings with dimensions, tolerances, material details, and revision control.

·        Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other relevant CAD tools as required.

·        Review designs for manufacturability and coordinate with production on fabrication constraints.

·        Update designs based on engineering changes, customer feedback, and shop-floor observations.

·        Support bill of materials (BOM) preparation and maintain drawing/document control.

·        Coordinate with quality and production teams to resolve design-related issues.

·        Follow company design standards and ensure accuracy of released drawings.

Required Qualifications & Skills·        B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

·        3–4 years of relevant mechanical or sheet metal design experience.

·        Working proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.

·        Knowledge of fabrication methods, engineering drawings, materials, and tolerances.

·        Good problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional coordination skills.
