Job Description
- User Support (Day-to-Day Assistance)Helping employees fix issues with laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and monitors.
- Troubleshooting common problems like system slow performance, software not working, network not connecting, etc.
- Guiding users on basic IT usage, best practices, and safety tips.
- Installing, configuring, and upgrading desktops/laptops.
- Replacing faulty parts like RAM, HDD/SSD, SMPS, motherboards, keyboards, and screens.
- Maintaining peripherals: printers, biometric devices, routers, switches.
- Installing Windows OS, MS Office, antivirus, and other company-approved applications.
- Handling updates, patches, and software licenses.
- Fixing software crashes, corrupted files, and compatibility issues.
- Assisting with LAN/Wi-Fi issues.
- Checking network cables, switches, and IP configurations.
- Troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, VPN connectivity problems.
- Assisting users with data backup.
- Recovering data from faulty drives (basic level).
- Helping in system restore or OS reinstallation.
- Using tools like AnyDesk, TeamViewer, Quick Assist to support users working remotely.
- Troubleshooting issues without being physically present.
- Supporting new joiner onboarding and exit processes.
- Identifying repeated issues and giving suggestions for improvement.
