Education Counsellor

About the Role

We are looking for a Student Counsellor – Sales who can speak with students and working professionals, understand their career goals, and help them choose the right Skillcase program.

This is a consultative sales role. You will speak to inbound leads, understand where they are in their journey, explain the opportunity and process clearly, handle questions and objections, and help interested candidates take the next step.

You will be one of the most important touchpoints between Skillcase and our candidates.

What You’ll Do

• Speak with prospective students/candidates over phone, WhatsApp and other channels
• Understand their background, career goals, education, experience and interest in overseas opportunities
• Explain Skillcase programs, eligibility, timelines, fees and career pathways
• Help candidates understand opportunities in Germany, Ireland and other international markets
• Identify the right program based on the candidate's profile and goals
• Follow up with interested candidates and move them through the counselling and enrolment journey
• Handle objections around fees, language requirements, timelines, eligibility and overseas relocation
• Maintain accurate lead and follow-up information in the CRM
• Work closely with the admissions, language and recruitment teams to ensure a smooth candidate experience
• Achieve monthly counselling, conversion and revenue targets
• Continuously improve your understanding of international career pathways and Skillcase programs

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, counselling, admissions, education sales, edtech or a similar customer-facing role
• Strong communication skills in English
• Comfortable speaking with students and parents over the phone
• Good listening and questioning skills
• Ability to explain complex processes in a simple and reassuring manner
• Comfortable with follow-ups and working towards targets
• Strong ownership and willingness to learn
• Experience using a CRM or lead management system is a plus
