Electronic Service Engineer

• Install, commission, and qualify biopharmaceutical/laboratory equipment at customer sites.
• Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, and instrumentation-related issues.
• Attend customer service calls and provide timely technical support.
• Perform equipment calibration, testing, and performance verification as required.
• Prepare and maintain service reports, installation reports, maintenance records, and customer documentation.
• Conduct preventive maintenance as per the prescribed service schedule.
• Coordinate with customers to understand technical issues and provide appropriate solutions.
• Provide basic operator training and technical guidance to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ensure service activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and applicable quality standards.
• Maintain service tools, spare parts, and technical equipment required for field visits.
• Coordinate with the internal technical/service team for complex technical issues.
• Support warranty and AMC-related service activities.
• Identify recurring equipment problems and escalate them to the technical/product team.
• Maintain good professional relationships with customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Required Skills
• Good understanding of biopharmaceutical/laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, electronics, or instrumentation systems.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, drawings, and equipment documentation.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Comfortable working independently at customer sites.
• Willingness to travel frequently as per business requirements.

Qualification

B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, laboratory equipment, life sciences, scientific instruments, or industrial equipment servicing will be preferred.
