Job Description

  • Roles of an Ex‑Serviceman Security Zonal Officer
  • 1. Operational LeadershipSupervise security operations across multiple units in the assigned zone.
  • Ensure deployment accuracy, punctuality, and discipline of guards and supervisors.
  • Conduct surprise checks and inspections to maintain service standards.
  • 2. Compliance & DocumentationEnforce company SOPs, statutory compliance (PF, ESI, labor laws), and client requirements.
  • Maintain incident reports, audit records, and deployment logs with military precision.
  • Ensure uniform discipline and adherence to grooming standards.
  • 3. Training & DevelopmentConduct drills, fire safety, and emergency response training for guards.
  • Mentor supervisors and guards using military-style leadership and discipline.
  • Build a reserve pool of trained manpower to handle attrition or sudden requirements.
  • 4. Client & Stakeholder CoordinationAct as the primary field representative of the company to clients.
  • Address client concerns promptly and provide advisory support on security improvements.
  • Liaise with local police and authorities when required.
  • 5. Risk & Incident ManagementConduct risk assessments of sites and recommend preventive measures.
  • Lead emergency response teams during crises.
  • Investigate incidents and escalate findings to management with actionable recommendations.
  • 6. Morale & Attrition ControlMotivate guards and supervisors to maintain high morale and loyalty.
  • Reduce attrition by instilling discipline, respect, and accountability.
  • Recognize and reward good performance to boost team spirit.
