Shubhanga Publications is a Hyderabad-headquartered educational publishing house supplying curriculum-aligned books and learning material to CBSE and State Board schools, dealers, and distributors across India.

Role Summary

Own the Bangalore territory for Shubhanga's school book range. Day-to-day this means being on the field — meeting principals, academic coordinators, and book dealers, presenting our titles, getting sample books into the right hands, and converting those meetings into adoptions and orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit schools in the assigned area to meet decision-makers and present Shubhanga's titles for curriculum adoption
• Build and service relationships with book dealers, distributors, and retail stockists
• Distribute specimen copies, catalogues, and promotional material; follow up until closure
• Achieve monthly and seasonal sales targets for the territory
• Track competitor titles, pricing, and school-level adoption patterns, and report back
• Support order execution and follow up on outstanding payments with the accounts team
• Maintain daily visit reports and update the reporting manager on pipeline and coverage
• Represent the company at school exhibitions, teacher orientations, and book fairs

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline; freshers welcome
• Fluency in Hindi and English (spoken and written)
• Working knowledge of Kannada is a strong advantage
• Comfortable with extensive daily field travel within Bangalore and occasional travel within Karnataka
• Two-wheeler with a valid driving licence and own smartphone
• Presentable, self-driven, and comfortable with cold visits and rejection
• Basic proficiency in WhatsApp, Excel, and email for reporting
