Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the chef with daily food preparation and cooking
  • Washing, cutting and chopping vegetables and other ingredients
  • Assist with preparation of rice bowls, salads and other Continental dishes
  • Support kitchen mise en place and daily production
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen
  • Wash and maintain kitchen utensils and equipment
  • Assist with packing and portioning meals
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Support the team during busy service hours
  • Minimise food wastage and maintain proper storage of ingredients
