Job Description
Job Description – Assistant Manager (HVAC)
- Supervise and manage the installation, testing, commissioning, and startup of AHUs and HVAC systems.
- Plan and monitor preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and servicing activities to ensure equipment reliability.
- Lead the troubleshooting of motors, VFDs, belts, bearings, dampers, filters, coils, valves, and actuators.
- Monitor HVAC system performance through BMS and ensure effective operation and timely resolution of technical issues.
- Oversee the inspection and functioning of sensors, actuators, control valves, VFDs, alarms, and temperature/pressure parameters.
- Coordinate with BMS, facility, project, and service teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Manage technicians, allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of maintenance and commissioning activities.
- Maintain and review installation, commissioning, service reports, preventive maintenance records, and other technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and quality requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, reduce equipment downtime, and optimize HVAC system performance.
- Monitor spare parts requirements, maintenance schedules, and service activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare maintenance reports, track performance indicators, and report technical issues and progress to management.
