Junior Engineer

looking for an experienced Junior Engineer (MEP) to manage and maintain critical building infrastructure across our corporate facility. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring 100% uptime of essential utility systems—specifically Diesel Generators (DG Sets), Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units, and HVAC systems (Chillers/AHUs)—to support uninterrupted business operations, safety compliance, and energy efficiency.

• Key ResponsibilitiesCritical Infrastructure Operations & Uptime:
• 
  
• Perform daily operational monitoring, routine inspections, and breakdown maintenance of DG sets, high-capacity UPS units, precision air conditioning (PAC), and central HVAC systems.
• Ensure 100% operational readiness and zero downtime for critical loads, server rooms, and floor operations.
• Maintenance Execution (Preventive & Corrective):
• 
  
• Plan and execute daily/weekly/monthly Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules for DG, UPS, Battery Banks, Chillers, AHUs, and Electrical Panels (AMF/HT/LT).
• Rapidly diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve emergency breakdowns, electrical faults, or cooling trips.
• Vendor Management & SLA Tracking:
• 
  
• Oversee OEM service technicians, AMC vendors, and third-party contractors during scheduled servicing, battery maintenance, or major overhaul jobs.
• Maintain vendor checklists, service reports, and track SLA performance for critical equipment.
• Logs, BMS & Compliance:
• 
  
• Log hourly operational data, fuel levels, load distributions, and system temperatures via the Building Management System (BMS) and physical logbooks.
• Adhere strictly to EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) standards, electrical safety norms, and ISO protocols (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22301).
• Emergency & Disaster Response:

• Assist in business continuity tests, including DG auto-sync testing, UPS battery discharge tests, and main power failure simulations.
• Key Requirements & QualificationsEducational Background:
• 
  
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
• Work Experience:
• 
  
• 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in MEP maintenance, corporate facility operations, or data center critical power & cooling infrastructure.
• Technical Knowledge & Expertise:
• 
  
• DG Sets: Practical knowledge of synchronizing panels, AMF panels, fuel management, and routine servicing (A/B/C/D checks).
• UPS Systems: Thorough understanding of online/offline UPS topologies, battery bank testing, static transfer switches (STS), and load balancing.
• HVAC Systems: Sound understanding of Chillers, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), VRV/VRF systems, and basic refrigeration cycles.
• Basic familiarity with BMS (Building Management System) operation and SCADA/PLC monitoring.
• Soft Skills & Work StandardsStrong analytical thinking and emergency response capability under high-pressure breakdown scenarios.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for team handovers, MIS updating, and vendor coordination.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night/weekend coverage if operational emergencies arise.
