Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough title due diligence for land and property transactions.
  • Perform title searches and verify ownership records to ensure clear and marketable titles.
  • Scrutinize property documents, including sale deeds, title deeds, encumbrance certificates, revenue records, and other related documents.
  • Coordinate with local authorities, government offices, and regulatory bodies for verification of property records and legal status.
  • Liaise with vendors, landowners, and external stakeholders to obtain additional documents and clarifications as required.
  • Identify legal risks, title defects, encumbrances, and compliance issues, and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of due diligence reports, legal opinions, and transaction documents.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and vetting property-related agreements and legal documents.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable property laws, land regulations, and company policies.
  • Support the legal team in handling documentation and legal matters related to real estate projects.
