Job Description
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, machinery, and building facilities.
- Inspect electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, pumps, generators, and other maintenance systems.
- Identify faults and carry out necessary repairs in a timely manner.
- Attend maintenance complaints and service requests from departments.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential equipment failures or safety hazards.
- Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, work orders, and repair records.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized repairs and servicing.
- Ensure proper use and storage of tools, spare parts, and maintenance materials.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and ensure completion within timelines.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and minimize operational downtime.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and applicable electrical, mechanical, and fire-safety standards.
- Support installation, shifting, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of maintenance areas.
- Report major faults, recurring problems, and required replacement of equipment to the supervisor.
