Job Description
Study customer RFQs, drawings & specifications and conduct feasibility analysis.
Identify acceptance/rejection criteria and technical clarifications.
Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations and roll-up costing.
Coordinate with Suppliers, Sub-contractors, VOM, Sales, Engineering & Procurement teams for costing inputs.
Analyse BOM, material, labour, equipment and process costs.
Review project costs and market trends to improve pricing accuracy.
Support RFQ, DFM, NPD, supplier/customer visits and CAM activities.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Maintain RFQ trackers/digitization portals and support Kaizen initiatives.
