Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Start, monitor, and run sealing equipment (such as heat sealers or side-sealing machines) while adjusting temperature, speed, and pressure settings. [1, 2, 3]
- Quality Control: Inspect finished packages for defects like weak seals, wrinkles, or misalignments to ensure they meet quality standards. [1, 2]
- Setup & Maintenance: Load raw materials like film rolls or tape, perform basic routine maintenance, and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues. [1, 2, 3]
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all factory safety rules and wear required protective equipment (PPE). [1, 2]
- Record Keeping: Log production metrics, counts, and equipment performance reports. [1, 2]
Requirements & Skills
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Technical Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude to handle adjustments, read specifications, and perform troubleshooting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift required materials or finished product bundles.
