Personal Trainer

Gym Trainer - Roles and Responsibilities

1. Training & Coaching

- Conduct fitness assessments for new members (BCA, fitness level, goals)

- Prepare customized workout plans - weight loss, muscle gain, strength, general fitness

- Conduct personal training and floor training sessions

- Teach correct exercise form, technique and use of equipment

- Conduct group classes - Cardio, Strength, Flexibility, Functional Training

2. Member Support & Retention

- Guide new members with equipment orientation

- Track member progress and update workout plans regularly

- Motivate members and ensure regular follow-ups

- Handle member queries related to workout and nutrition

- Ensure high member satisfaction and retention

3. Safety & Discipline

- Ensure safe use of all gym equipment

- Maintain discipline and hygiene on the gym floor

- Report damaged equipment immediately

- Provide first-aid support in case of injury

- Ensure members follow gym rules

4. Sales & Enquiries

- Explain membership plans, personal training packages and offers to walk-ins

- Assist front desk / manager in conversions and renewals

- Promote personal training, group classes and other services

5. Daily Operations

- Maintain attendance and training records

- Keep workout area clean and equipment arranged

- Open / close gym as per shift timing

- Coordinate with Club Manager for daily tasks and events

6. Professional Conduct

- Report on time in proper uniform / dress code

- Maintain professional behaviour with all members and staff

- Continuously upgrade fitness knowledge and certifications.
