Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Receive and process prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Prepare and label medications as directed by the pharmacist.
- Maintain accurate patient and prescription records.
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and placing orders for supplies.
- Receive, unpack, and organize pharmaceutical deliveries.
- Process customer payments and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Answer phone calls and direct customer inquiries to the pharmacist when appropriate.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable privacy regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, documentation, and report preparation.
