Job Description
Industry:Raw Material PharmaceuticalsRole Objective:Drive business growth by expanding market presence, building strong client relationships, and ensuring consistent sales of pharmaceutical raw materials to manufacturers, distributors, and allied industries.
Market Development
- Identify and target pharmaceutical manufacturers, contract research organizations (CROs), and bulk drug producers.
- Conduct market research to track demand trends for APIs, excipients, and specialty raw materials.
Sales Growth
- Generate leads, negotiate contracts, and close deals with B2B clients.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
Marketing Strategy
- Develop promotional campaigns highlighting product quality, certifications (GMP, ISO), and competitive pricing.
- Represent the company at pharma expos, trade fairs, and industry networking events.
Client Engagement
- Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients.
- Act as a liaison between production, quality assurance, and customers to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly sales forecasts, statements and performance reports.
- Track competitor activities and recommend pricing/positioning strategies.
- 🧩 Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of pharmaceutical raw materials (APIs, excipients, intermediates).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for B2B Sales and B2C Sales
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Excel for data-driven reporting.
