Site Engineer

Job Summary: We are looking for a responsible and experienced Civil Site Engineer to manage day-to-day construction activities at site. The candidate will ensure that work is executed as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, and within the given timeline and budget.

• Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution

• Supervise all construction activities (excavation, footing, RCC, masonry, plastering, finishing, etc.)
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications
• Monitor daily progress and resolve site issues

2. Labour & Contractor Management

• Manage masons, helpers, and subcontractors (centering, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower
• Coordinate with subcontractors to avoid delays

3. Quality Control

• Check line, level, alignment, and measurements at site
• Ensure quality of materials (cement, steel, aggregates, blocks)
• Implement proper curing and workmanship standards

4. Material Management

• Plan and track material requirements
• Avoid wastage and ensure proper storage of materials
• Coordinate with procurement team/supplier

5. Billing & Measurements

• Take site measurements and prepare BOQ updates
• Verify subcontractor bills based on actual work done
• Maintain daily work records

6. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure safety practices are followed at site
• Use PPE (helmets, shoes, etc.)
• Maintain basic safety standards for workers

7. Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and clients
• Report daily progress to management
• Handle client/site inspections professionally
• Required Qualifications-Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• 2–5 years of experience in residential/commercial construction

Skills Required

• Good knowledge of RCC, masonry, and finishing works
• Ability to read drawings (architectural & structural)
• Strong site management and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting
• Good communication skills (Kannada + English preferred)

Preferred Experience

• Experience in independent house / villa projects
• Experience handling G+2 or G+4 buildings
• Familiarity with local construction practices in Karnataka
• Salary₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience)

Other Requirements:

• Willing to travel between sites
• Ability to handle multiple sites (if required)
