Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Keeper to manage construction materials, maintain stock records, and ensure proper receipt, storage, and issue of materials at the project site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming construction materials.
- Maintain stock registers for cement, steel, aggregates, tools, consumables, and other materials.
- Issue materials against approved requisitions and maintain proper records.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and safe handling of materials.
- Maintain delivery challans, goods receipt notes, invoices, and material issue records.
- Prepare daily and monthly stock reports.
- Prevent material wastage, damage, and unauthorized usage.
