Production Supervisor responsibilities and duties

• Manage the technicians and ensure safe work environment for them.
• Plan and execute day to day works of technicians.
• Be responsible for battery & ESS builds and integrations.
• Understand designs to make and establish shop floor processes.
• Evaluate each station of the manufacturing process to ensure maximum efficiency
• Build and Enforce safety policies and procedures (both in-house and regulatory) to decrease the potential for employee injuries on the job
• Assume responsibility for battery builds, manufacturing and shipping processes in the plant.
• Inspect products prior to shipment to ensure accurate labelling and record keeping.
• Manage inventory of parts.
• Record issues faced in builds and other shop floor processes.
• Ensure organized and clean shop floor at all times.
• Maintain open lines of communication between employees, management and executives.
• Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly

Production Supervisor qualifications and skills

• Diploma with 5-7 years experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2-3 years experience in related field required
• Previous experience in a shop floor management / supervising is must.
• Ability to create and follow schedules and Processes.
• Organization skills and willingness to assume accountability for plant practices required.
• Should be aware about factory compliances.
• Must be able to maintain shop floor discipline and best practices.
• Needless to mention, must know using basic computer, Office software and cloud based web solutions.
