Technical Assistant

Position Overview:

The Mobile Van Technical Head will play a crucial role in driving our brand's presence and promoting the company through a mobile van initiative. This position involves extensive travel across Karnataka to conduct influencer meetings, provide technical demonstrations, and effectively market our steel bars.

The ideal candidate must possess a strong technical background in the steel industry, exceptional public speaking skills, and fluency in Kannada.

Key Responsibilities

1. Travel across Karnataka in the Mobile Technical Van along with the team to visit construction sites and meet influencers such as Engineers, Architects, Contractors, Masons, Bar Benders, Builders, and Dealers.

2. Conduct at least one Dealer/Counter Meet every day and deliver technical presentations to groups of approximately 30–40 participants.

3. Demonstrate the features, quality, applications, and technical advantages through live product demonstrations and technical presentations.

4. Educate customers and influencers on product specifications, construction best practices, and company schemes, while addressing their technical queries.

5. Build strong relationships with dealers and construction influencers and convert technical interactions into business opportunities through regular follow-up and coordination with the sales team.

6. Track customer enquiries generated from meetings and ensure effective follow-up to maximize conversion into sales.

7. Plan and execute the monthly travel and event schedule in coordination with the Sales and Marketing teams.

8. Maintain records of all meetings, including attendee lists, photographs, enquiries generated, and follow-up status.

9. Submit daily and weekly activity reports covering meetings conducted, attendees, enquiries, sales generated, and upcoming plans.

10. Support new product launches and marketing campaigns through technical presentations and field demonstrations.

Performance Expectations

 Create strong brand awareness through effective technical presentations, live demonstrations, and influencer engagement.

 Drive measurable business results by generating enquiries, supporting sales conversions, and increasing sales in the areas where meetings and demonstrations are conducted.

 Achieve monthly targets for dealer meets, influencer engagement programs, technical demonstrations,

and sales conversions.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related field is mandatory.
• Candidates with equivalent experience in the Steel, Cement, TMT, Building Materials, Construction Chemicals, Pipes, or Roofing industry may also apply.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in technical marketing, influencer marketing, dealer development, or field sales.
• Proven experience in conducting:

o Bar Bender Meets

o Mason Meets

o Dealer Meets

o Contractor Meets

o Engineer/Architect Meets

o Technical Demonstrations

 Strong understanding of Building material products and construction practices.

 Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.

 Strong convincing, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

 Willingness to travel extensively across Karnataka and stay outstation whenever required.
